Spiced Honey Pork Ribs
Honey, spice and lime creates a delicious glaze for a rack of ribs.
Serves:
4 as starter, 2 as main
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 kg baby back pork ribs
- honey, for drizzling
- lime, for serving
Method
- Combine spices together. Lay ribs on a baking paper lined oven tray and sprinkle all over with spice mix.
- Drizzle with honey and cover with a second sheet of baking paper, then cover the tray with foil, sealing to enclose.
- Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes until ribs are tender. Brush with any pan juices, drizzle with a little extra honey and grill on both sides until golden. Serve with a squeeze of lime.
Tips
- Ribs can be oven baked in advance and finished under the grill, on a barbecue or chargrill pan just before serving.
- STYLING Serve on a board lined with brown baking paper and glaze with pan juices.
