December is well and truly party season, and that ice breaking time of chatting over drinks, when you gather guests for any special occasion can really set the mood.
That’s why having tasty passarounds that are appetising and, most importantly, easy to eat with one hand, while simultaneously balancing a glass in the other, are handy to have up your sleeve.
Wrapping crisp grissini sticks in prosciutto with a tasty spread, topping flaky squares of pastry with a couple of choice ingredients or baking a wheel of brie with crunchy walnuts and a drizzle of honey, all attract the eye and match perfectly with a glass of bubbles or beer.
Crumbed olives are particularly good with a martini and you can’t go wrong when you pimp your oysters.
All of these can be assembled at least an hour in advance, leaving you plenty of time to frock up before the party starts!
Enjoy…
