It was a cool Autumn afternoon when we drove into Melbourne town and went for a stroll down the top end of Bourke Street.
It was time for a snack and there is no better place to sit and watch the world go by than the window seats at Ombra Salumi Bar
The menu has perfect grazing fare. We loved the rich duck parfait in pane carusau – a Sardinian style flat bread – the stuffed crumbed olives and the braised octopus salad.
A couple of glasses of Sangiovese and, well, good old Bourke Street started to feel a lot like Roma!
