|Preparation Time:||5 minutes|
|Cooking time:||10 minutes|
- 200g wheel double brie, chilled
- few sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup walnut halves
- honey, for drizzling
- freshly cracked black pepper, for sprinkling
- crusty bread, crackers or bruschetta, for serving
Cut a 20cm square piece of baking paper and tear the edges. Place brie in the centre of the paper, and partially wrap around the sides, securing decoratively with kitchen string. Place on a baking tray and score the top of the cheese in a circle around the edge and a criss-cross pattern in the centre. Sprinkle with thyme leaves and bake at 200°C for 5 minutes. Arrange walnuts on tray around cheese and bake both fro a further 5 minutes until walnuts are toasted and cheese is oozy. Transfer cheese in wrapping to a serving board, sprinkle with toasted walnuts, serving some on the side. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with pepper, garnish with a sprig of thyme and serve immediately with crusty bread.
