Smoked Cheddar and Salami Savouries
The combination of smoked cheddar and spicy salami make these bite size savouries the perfect passaround.

- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup thick tomato passata or puree
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 200g Italian style salami
- 170g smoked cheddar, cut into shards
- smoked paprika, for sprinkling
Cut each puff pastry sheet into 16 squares and arrange on baking trays. Combine tomato passata and oil and spoon a teaspoon onto each pastry square. Top with a slice of salami and bake in the upper half of the oven at 220°C for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden. Top hot pastries with shards of smoked cheddar, sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately.
Use the fan forced oven setting to cook two trays of savouries at the same time, rotating them if necessary.
