Triple Cream Blue on Baguette with Grilled Figs and Almonds
When Autumn figs are caramelised they make the perfect accompaniment for a creamy blue cheese.

- 200g triple cream blue cheese or brie
- 4 ripe fresh figs
- honey, for drizzling
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices baguette
- 2 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds
Remove blue cheese from refrigerator to come to room temperature. Cut figs in half, drizzle with honey and grill cut surfaces until caramelized. Top baguette with slices of triple cream blue, caramelized figs and almonds and serve sprinkled with pepper.
