Apple Blueberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 800g can pie apple
  • 1 punnet blueberries (or use frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 125g butter, softened

Method

Combine pie apple, blueberries, lemon juice and brown sugar together into a pie dish. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder together and mix in butter, squeezing with your hand to make a stiff dough. Crumble dough onto the top of fruit and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
