Blue Cheese with Spiced Maple Syrup Dates and Fruit Bread

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 120g blue cheese
- 12 fresh dates
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
- fresh pears, for serving
- fruit bread, for serving
Method
Remove cheese from refrigerator and bring to room temperature. Cut dates in half and remove pips. Combine dates, maple syrup and mixed spice and allow to stand for at least 20 minutes. Serve blue cheese with dates, fresh pears and sliced fruit bread.
