Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 12 baguette slices
  • extra virgin olive oil spray
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 200g wheel Brie
  • 6 slices prosciutto, cut in half length ways
  • 6 stuffed green olives, sliced

Method

Place baguette slices on an oven tray, spray on both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill on both sides until toasted. Rub each toast with the fresh garlic clove. Cut Brie across the length of the cheese into 12 slices. Wrap each slice with a strip of prosciutto and position onto Garlic Toasts. Bake for 2-5 minutes until cheese is just starting to soften. Top with sliced olives and serve immediately.

Tips

Camembert can also be used in this recipe. Garlic Toasts can be made up to 1 hour in advance and Brie can be wrapped in prosciutto and refrigerated for 2 hours beforehand. Prosciutto-wrapped Brie may also be served without baking, if desired.
