Tahini Choc Chip Cookies (eggless)

The exotic taste of tahini gives these choc chip egg-less cookies a delicious nuttiness.

Ingredients

  • 250g butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 160g jar Al’ Fez Natural Tahini Paste, stirred well
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2/3 cup dark choc chips

Method

Beat butter and sugar together in an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in Al’ Fez Tahini and honey until smooth. Mix in flour and baking powder on slow speed until combined and stir in 1/2 cup choc chips. Roll mixture into walnut-size balls. Arrange on baking-paper lined oven trays, allowing room for spreading and flatten slightly. Press remaining choc chips onto the top of each cookie to decorate. Bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to set for 5 minutes before removing onto a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.
